Project Management and golf? Are you kidding? No! Books have been written on this relationship and featured recently on the PMI website home page. The Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK) can be applied to any discipline, but too often we associate it with Information Technology and focus on required documents instead of thinking of the logical flow.

This briefing will look at the PMBoK from a different perspective using a popular sport. Task decomposition is necessary in mastering golf as well as task sequencing, resources, lessons learned, risk management and constant monitoring and control. Metrics will include USGA statistics. A few golf tips might be the fallout. Everyone is welcome to attend, whether or not you swing a club. This will be a fun session with an important PMBoK theme.
